Personal Heaven

Everyone has a place they'd consider to be their own personal heaven. Whether it's a physical place or a world they mentally escape to, everyone has one. Here's a glimpse of mine.

Journey into my personal heaven.

Where there is nothing but joy and peace.

Where I can escape to whenever I wish

to disappear from the harsh world I live in.

Enter through the bright red door, and step into my world.

Standing on a marble balcony

the whole world is stretched before your eyes.

North, South, East and West,

everywhere you look, there is a place to explore.

Look up and see the magic of the light that allows you to see.

Overhead the sun shines dim, gold rays

while the world is lit by lamps.

Each illuminating a different pastel glow.

The sky is filled with color. 

Walk down the marble staircase and onto the grass.

The tall blades of grass are cool and refreshing

leading you down an invisible trail. 

A constant, soft breeze creates a ripple

through the tall blades of crisp, green grass.

Travel down the path and through the Meadow of Peace.

Wildflowers of many kinds fill the air,

their sweet scent bringing a smile to your face.

Walk across the bridge over the crystal clear lake

where fish swim freely and without fear.

Maintain your course and enter my Enchanted Forest.

The trees, some covered in green moss

are strung with smaller lanterns lighting your way.

The woodland creatures live without fear,

some of which travel down the path with you.

Emerging through the forest, you come across The Plain.

Meet all of the creatures living in harmony,

some of which have gone extinct in our physical world.

Each creature has an intelligence similar to ours, 

and without words, approach and welcome you.

Stop for a moment to sit amongst the animals and think.

Here you are surrounded by a new world,

and a new sense of adventure fills your spirit.

You can experience the wonder of nature,

and the magic of bonding with creatures.

Now let your spirit lead you and explore my personal heaven.

Expressed almost as a forest nymph, like a magical encounter with words, callings for the man or woman to search what ee have lost in society, the nature that surrounds us. A lovely piece.
