IFA Poem by Kieran James WaiteJust a thoughtWould you love me when I'm grey If I sat here wilting away. If I only had one last breath, would you take it away or suffocate me where I laid. If I lost my mind. Would you have the strength to create new memories, one last time. If I die before I wake, pray the lord my soul to take. Sorry I am old... Loneliness kills. Old people are the Jewels of society and should be looked after and maintained. They once were strong, creative and charasmatic. Alas! Lets not forget. Old age could come to us all. © 2018 Kieran James Waite |
