Beautiful LiesA Poem by kayBiE
You feed me beautiful lies
That leave me swirling on the dance floor. Your lies are of sweet tender fruit That ripe only on spring and keep blooming all winter long. They never cease to die When winter leaves wither away Your lies never seem to stray So enticing they taste like Strawberry cheese cake with a dash of vanilla chocolate on my lips. They are so real They feel like fingers moving across my hips But then again your smooth words Always come across as avid They never seem dry or weary Always full of life It's them I would marry. I've seen them so clearly Never missing a glimpse they're just so vivid. Handsome lies in a tux Riding around in that Ferrari they should be daunting by they fill me up its really scary. When your lips move I get hypnotised by the vibrations they send out They suddenly leave me on my knees Bowing down to a god of lies how my silent cries Can't seem to leave your beautiful lies Of deception Sent by these annoying flies not even the holiest of priest can save a pagan From a world of deceit Only you have the key I'll just wait and believe
