A longing of unity

Am I wrong?

Am I wrong for wanting a sweet guy who wouldn't mind taking me out?

Who would tie my shoe laces 

because he doesn't want me to bend down in public

not because he's whipped but because he adores me?

Would it be wrong that for once in our lives 

we be with people who want to be with us?

That we don't hurt each other nor use each other but 

just embrace each other?

No human being in this world is perfect

we live by a world order called "cynicism"

Where we all use each other

Can't we just realise that we need each other to go on?

Am I wrong for wanting to be appreciated, 

Loved and cared for?

don't we all just want that one person who will envelope you

And elope with you?

Somebody tell me 

Why can't we be one 

live as one

be as one

And share a heart as one?

I might be naive but I just want to be held 

and not hurt
