DISAPPEAR

IF IT WERE UP TO ME I WOULD DISAPPEAR INTO THIN AIR

I found something amazing

something that might burst

so beautiful it  lured me

and i went in

opened the closed door

and it had me in tears

They were standing right

in front of me

and it was the thing that

i fear most

they came with a dazzle

smoking the terror out of me

i could see them clearly

she left me and was with

some one else

my tears fell to the ground 

and vanished instantly

was it all finished?

How can i love one

as my own

when God gave her to me 

as a loan?

I felt like i was losing her

but she didn't see the

change over coming her

How can that be a loss?

It enveloped her like

a blanket does

and covered her eyes so that she 

couldn't see

maybe she was aware

she just didn't want to be

with me

I followed her and they held 

her hand and hurried on

and she didn't even look back

I went from being the one 

to the other one

If she decides to leave it all behind

I will curtsy

And fade into the back ground
