Fleeting

Fleeting

A Poem by Kay

i watch a wave of light toss her blonde hair across my fingers,

wishing deeply that i could hold onto her tangibly and indulge in her warmth.

but like a speeding car she has somewhere else to go and rushes by,

and i sit quietly amongst the brisk shadows of an empty night.
