the reminder is enough to make scarred sealants bleed; when I gave you a gift, cautiously, my trust was meant to carry the weight of your world, some planet of cruelty. How do you hold a rose and trade it for a weed molded in dust and rotten temptation, a voice coated in playful silk, blanketing thorns of desperation?
