Infuse

Infuse

A Poem by Kay

“I love you,” he said softly,

mirroring the heart of the sun,

his whisper dancing through my ear,

spilling onto my neural synapses,

electrically pulsing through my nerves,

coating the surface of my blood cells,

spreading wings through my entire body,

every limb absorbed with his feeling,

lifting me into total enchantment,

newly born as a blushing dove.
