Wicked Fate

Wicked Fate

A Poem by Kay

How wicked you are Miss Beautiful Fate,
will I ever be able to describe?
False apologies now are far too late,
nor will I be tempted by your cold bribe.
To be witness to your careless playing
with hearts that long to find but truth and joy
strikes cruelly my chest, soon disarraying;
all that is to follow you dare destroy.
Lives you juggle with your curious feet,
your hands holding our strings as you prance bare
across the stage, we your puppets and treat
while you expose a sinful smirk, unaware,
that we will pass your mark of deep sorrow
with new hope, new light, and live tomorrow.
