Sweeping madly

Sweeping madly

A Poem by Kay

Sweeping madly across my brain’s floor

to vanish the clutter with utmost haste

dust, conglomerate worries, a rotten apple core

beaten by the hay into a swampy paste

arms swinging fire, burning pale and sore

nothing changes, so time goes to waste

trapped in a loop  of what happened before

all moments lost in a muddy taste.
