Seeing Red

Seeing Red

A Poem by KawaiiTaco
"

Poem about how sometimes people just lose it.

"

I'm seeing red,

Anger rising,

Bitterness expanding,

Hatred consuming.

It only happens when I see your face.

I'm seeing red,

I have to clench my fists,

Bite my lips,

Keep a poker face,

Just to keep from hurting you.

I'm seeing red,

Hating every moment around you,

Wishing you were dead,

Trying to control the violent thoughts in my head.

How much longer can I stay this way?

I'm seeing red,

Everywhere around me.

Your blood is on every wall,

It covers me,

This sweet satisfaction is drowning me.

I really enjoyed this. The repetition of "red" is perfect.
