Naukar Tirth

Naukar Tirth

A Poem by Kavi Bhakti
"

Chains of slavery rattling

"

l Dream-laced glades..
in the cold clear air of the heights,
where purity breathes fiery-
the mists swirl around the trees.

The path threads through..
imperceptible..

You tread this path,
sensing, even through the murk,
that the precipice drops
into sheltered valleys of fragrant tea blooms
that Hum Drum Man has carved out.

Where you are,
Loneliness makes your heart ring.
The drooling leopard of your pasts
-stalks you...
