My only religion

My only religion

A Poem by Katya_Stotskaya

“My only religion”

Looking for hope like a hungry pigeon.
Drifting from black to the slightly grey...
You were my church and my only religion,
You were my reason for Sunday pray.

Communication without receiver.
Dialed number had never existed...
I was your biggest and true believer,
I was your modest and loyal priest.

Speaking of sins, I had none from seven,
Didn’t break any commandments as well
How could you promise me instant heaven,
Knowing that both will end up in hell?
