Won't go outside

Won't go outside

A Poem by Katy Stash

Is July and the sun is burning
Feeling not in my element,running
Look at him how he's fooling around
He seems like he flies to another land
But he won't go outside
Angels to cry
He talks like he doesn't care
He flips his hair
Like he's going to say something smart
It's cute to know that you think I'm beautiful
But you already showed me
What you're made of
But he won't go outside
Angels to cry
He really thinks he can make it
If he only could fly to it
But he won't go outside
Angels to cry
If I could only realise
What's underneath that mask
But I didn't wanna ask
Why can't you be yourself?
But I guess you won't go outside
Angels to cry
