A Perception of YouA Story by !FireCracker! You know who you are.
He’s fire and passion, an untapped well of greatness that the world has yet to see. He’s got a swagger that even John Wayne would kill for, and enough charisma for twelve world leaders. A confidant when guilt lays heavy on a heart, and a personal devil to tempt you when the need arises. His presence makes you think of cinnamon sweet and spicy, a slow burn all the way down, a hint of wood smoke curling in the air all around. His eyes are drowning deep, caught somewhere between scarlet and coffee, windows shuttered closed to hide the scars. I’ve seen those eyes when he’s caught in the peak of his temper they dance like the greatest forest fire, and his words are a firestorm, woe to the fool that provoked the wrath of that inferno. Those same eyes cool to a smolder to warm the wounded soul of a friend. His smile is one from the heart, all really depending on if that heart is feeling warm and playful, or angry and vindictive. His moods dance like the light from a candle, burning brightest just before the madness begins. He is the flame, a blindingly bright magnesium flare that draws us helplessly to him. He can be hell’s fiery sword, or the nurturing fire that keeps fear and darkness at bay. He is the heat of the night when the wind has given up, the kind of heat that surrounds and pulls you in, relentless, comforting. My sinner, my saint, my guilty pleasure, my personal addiction. © 2009 !FireCracker!Author's Note
