My happy ending

I see my friends happily in love
children on the way
they've never been happier.

I think to myself where is my happy ending?

They say my day will come,
but i just don't see it.
I used to know what love was but i no longer do.

Where is my happy ending?

I look at pictures from the past
pictures of me and the one i thought i'd forever love,
Tears come to my eyes as i look at what could have been.

My friends have their happy endings
why can't i have mine?

I've loved before but only one person holds my heart
he was my number one but he just broke my heart.

I want a happy ending for once
but all i get is heartbreak.

You say your my future but i just don't see it
you text me constantly and try to make me feel bad
this isn't a happy ending, it's hell.

My friends say my happy ending is out there,
but where u just don't know.

Where is my happy ending?
