What have i become

just a little something i wrote during a lecture

I can't believe what i've become
i promised myself i wouldn't change
but look at me now

I'm not the same person you once knew
but can you still love me?
for who i now am?

I used to stay home everynight
do my coursework
and spend time with my family

But now i'm out most nights
i hardly talk to my parents
and i'm failing because of the lake of coursework i'm doing

What have i become?

I spend all my time drinking or texting
i'm falling behind at uni just because i don't care anymore

What have i become?

I may have changed my style and how i look
but i'm still my bubbly self and my feelings for you lee will never fade away

What have i become?

Where has my old self gone?
Why have i become who i have?

I just wish i knew
