I was scared to be myself

Because of you
I changed myself and style

Because of you
I ruined my life

Because of you
I'm scarred from what you did

Now i don't have you
I've finally got a better life

This poem really hit home with me, we've all had people in our lives who break us down and when they're finally gone we can get back to ourselves. You must not be scared of others, but be you through everything. If you dont have yourself, then you really have nothing at all. Great poem(:
