My Angel

A poem about the angel i never met

You were going to be my beautiful princess
due 11th february 2008

Until the mad man came along
and broke my heart

At just 6 months pregnant the fight began
i managed to protect you until that dark rainy night

I realised i wouldn't let him hit me again
and went to walk out which is when the nightmare began

I got to the stairs and for some reason turned around
i could see his cruel face infront of me
planning the evil plan

Knowing he had hold of me i tried to get away
this is when i lost you my angel
i couldn't get away

He pushed me down those wooden stairs
without a care in the world and definately no heart

I dont remember much after that except the nurse and docters in my face
telling me that i had just lost my little princess
and this broke my heart
