Restless
My body moves despite my intentions
My brain follows suit, creating and destroying
Never ceasing, always running
From what it perceives as mundane

Restless
I book my schedule from midnight to midnight
Unending tasks, focusing and distracting
Never idle, always doing
For busyness is what we perceive as success

Restless
I lie in bed for hours
Unable to sleep, exhausted and energized
Never dreaming, always thinking
Of moments which I perceive as millennia

Restless
Restless
Restless
