Crumbs

Crumbs

A Poem by Katsura

Crumbs
You know the feeling
So uncomfortable, the slightest little thing takes your attention and causes you pain
Crumbs in your bed
Crumbs in your head
Crumbs from the cookies you binged because you were tired of life
Binging that made you want to vomit, to starve yourself, to die, to do anything to get away from the fat pig that you are as you guzzle your slough
Crumbs
You say it's not a big deal
Don't get worked up, it doesn't mean anything
Well, maybe it means more than you could ever know.

Comforting eating, and bulimia spring to mind on this one. Very relatable. How emotions are connected to our need to find solace in food.
