Eye Candy (10/7/11)

Eye Candy (10/7/11)

A Poem by Katseye

Eye Candy

Just because
I agreed to wear your ring
Doesn't mean
I died the day
You placed it on my finger
Nor did I go blind or deaf

We may be
Man and Wife
But you don't own me

So don't go  blowin' you top
If I happen ti notice
A tasty bit of eye candy
Walkin' down the street

Don't go gettin' in a huff
If I should flirt
If we meet
It's all innocent fun
It doesn't mean a thing

Not sense I chose
to wear your ring.

I like this. It is a great description of how being married really is. We are not robots...we still notice others. Well done!
