Seeking Redemption (7/2/09)

A Poem by Katseye

Seeking Redemption

The skies are,
Gray and gloomy.
Sends a chill,
Right through me.

The dark clouds,
Lying so low.
A shroud over,
The dead below.

A lost soul,
Seeking redemption;
Knows not...
Where to look.

For the answers,
Can't be found;
Within the pages,
Of any book bound.

Wander on past,
The silent dead.
Who's staring eyes,
Reveal only lies.
Which echo through,
Their empty heads.

No truth;
To be found here.
No redemption,
That's clear.

So carry on,
My dear,
Carry on.
