Guiding Light (1/18/99)

A Poem by Katseye

Guiding Light

Where do I go from here?
My guiding light;
When you left,
You so casually stole away,
My dear.
So tell me now,
Where so I go from here?

You left me in a world,
All stark and gray.
Not even a sparkling star,
To point the way.

Can't find my way home;
Not in this baron landscape.
Nothing to see,
Nothing to do,
To keep my mind,
Off of you.

My dear never before,
Did I know you to be so crewel.
Using my heart;
Just like a tool.

And when the tool broke,
You just tossed it aside.
So easily was I replaced.
