Dream Waking  (Aug. '99)

Dream Waking (Aug. '99)

A Poem by Katseye

Dream Waking

My heart is breaking.
My soul- it's aching.
For I fear;
From my dream,
I now am waking.

My hope is frying.
My strength- decaying.
To survive,
I must make my dream waking.

I dream of us together;
Of a time you'll call me home;
And tell me,
Never to leave again.

I know the chance I'm taking;
To stop my soul's aching,
Prevent my heart's breaking,
I must make this dream waking.
