Lost and Found 2

Though only twenty,
I feel so old,
My hair is graying.
Yet when I look in the mirror-
A child stares back at me.
Worry and sadness disappear from her eyes.
Replaces by curiousity and life.

The young girl aged far to quickly,
By life's crewel hand:
Never to become a woman,
Yet nolonger a child.

Childhood stolen,
The raod to adulthood blocked.
Isolated, lost, and confused.

The pain too much to bare.
All emotions blocked,
Til you took my hand.

Thoug you knew the road to be rough,
You chose to lead me home.
You gave me room;
To explore, and discover.
Always close to:
Protect, teach and heal.

Your love for me,
Made me a women.
My love for you,
Found the child within.
