Changes (3/7/95)

A Poem by Katseye

Changes

You were my friend,
Though I didn't know your name.
Or even your face.
I knew you better,
Than all the rest.

For years you were my friend,
I knew you;
Without knowing you.

Fate brought us together,
That night:
We met face to face.
I'd never seen you before,
Yet I knew you better,
Than the rest.

In time we became,
So much more than friends.
Now I hardly know you at all...
My friend?
