The Guide


There was a time in my life,
When I didn't know where,
I was headed.
I wandered aimlessly;
Guiding stars hidden from my view.

The skies were always cloudy,
But that's not the reason why-
I couldn't see my guiding stars.
For my guiding stars,
Are not in the heavens at all.
No they are in your eyes.

Love is my guide.
I know not where I am going,
But I know my destination is near.
Your love,
It guides me on.

I will follow you,
As long as I continue to see-
My guiding stars shining in your eyes.
