School Bell

 

A dreaded sound to me ears,

Is that of a school bell ringing to start the day.

Not because I have to sit in class-

Listening to a teacher who won't shut up,

But beacuse it takes me from the one I love.

He in his classes;

I in mine,

Awaiting the final bell,

So we can be together again.

Until that time we'll both-

Just sit and daydream,

Of when we will be together once more.

A horrid sound in the mornings,

Beautiful music when ecning comes.

In the morning it says lovers must part.

Evning sings for lovers reunite.
