FervorA Poem by TinaI say I ache for you But your heart is fleeting And so much life falls between those hungry moments Is it you or fervency that I crave? I know you're not enough But I can't stand to see you go Do you see me? What would I grasp If I could see you? What would I ask you If I wasn't censored by fear? Might I say: I ache for you But it's my heart that's fleeting I need the life that falls between those hungry moments It's not you It's fervency that I crave I know I'm not enough That's why I can't stand to see you go If you can see me And you'll let me see you What I ask you Is to tell me so I believe What is all this? And what are we doing it for? © 2015 TinaReviews
