Fervor

Fervor

A Poem by Tina

I say I ache for you
But your heart is fleeting
And so much life falls
between those hungry moments

Is it you or fervency that I crave?
I know you're not enough
But I can't stand to see you go

Do you see me?
What would I grasp
If I could see you?

What would I ask you
If I wasn't censored by fear?

Might I say:
I ache for you
But it's my heart that's fleeting
I need the life that falls
between those hungry moments

It's not you
It's fervency that I crave
I know I'm not enough
That's why I can't stand
to see you go

If you can see me
And you'll let me see you
What I ask you
Is to tell me so I believe

What is all this?
And what are we doing it for?

Just by reading your poem I feel fervent :). "Do you see me? What would I grasp If I could see you?" is a brilliant line and very rich with thought and deep analysis..it makes me reflect what do loved see in me and what could they grasp and vice-versa..
Brilliant notions and reflections can be drawn from this great writing of yours! well done

I've always found the "about me" section confining and flat. How to sum up one's essence in a few lines of descriptive text? But no matter: I find clarity in nature and lightning storms sooth my soul.. more..
