So lost, So dazed, and Still so confused

So lost, So dazed, and Still so confused

A Poem by ChristineAnn

Watching as you float away like the little pedals off a flower in the wind.

I close my eyes, wishing this wouldn't be the end.
But i only open my eyes to find that you're further than you first were.
Reaching my hand out as far as it will go.
I call your name as my tears start to flow.
Could it be?
It seems as if only yesterday, we were standing there in the cold as you pressed
your lips agents mine for the very first time.
It's like i'm just now waking up from a dream.
I had you.
I thought everything was just fine.
But it's like i woke up one day and you're ready to leave.
I was very unprepared, and with that i didn't know where to go.
So lost, so dazed, and so confused.
Still trying to figure everything out,
Here i am once again,
That girl in the Conner of the coffee shop,
Day dreaming as if there was no such thing as time.
