Stomach Talks

Stomach Talks

A Poem by Kaitiebug
"

hush now..

"

Perfection is a hard goal to reach.

To get beauty one must accept pain.

There are several things she can do.

She does not like her body.

She looks in the mirror and sees there is no space left.

She has broken eyes.

She hates herself.

And her body hates her.

It screams.

At night it cries and begs.

In the morning it mourns.

During the day it becomes angry and fed up.

"Please feed me!"

"You cant eat"

"I'll die!"

Thigh gaps.

Collar bones.

Flat stomach.

This is what she wants.

Perfection.

She cannot gain.

Because her stomach talks.
