Our PrayersA Poem by Phoenix Alleena
Our Prayers No longer safe and sitting home Thinking that you’re all alone No looking back behind to see Your haven, Land of the Free Those creatures in the hell out there Won’t be nice and won’t play fair Stand strong, I ask of you this time For waiting with honor is no crime I know that they’ve got guns in hand, That some of them hide in the sand. Most of them bring your worst fears, Though I know you won’t show tears Your fallen angel’s wings will guide The thoughts of us are at your side Give all you’ve got, give them your all We will be here, awaiting your call. © 2008 Phoenix AlleenaAuthor's Note
