Battles LostA Poem by Phoenix Alleena
Battles Lost Fate is Fate, you can’t change it Despite all odds to over come; When losing is the destiny chosen, You can’t fight it. If it were any other Chances could be better Maybe they wouldn’t be… I can’t fight it. She thinks of him fondly Endearing thoughts prevail A gleaming adoration there She can’t fight it. So who’s to blame? This vicious or wonderful cycle Of Winning or Losing… We can’t fight it. Because she means much to me Though he also stays close I’ll walk a separate path, happily No one can fight it. This is my own choice Part of my predetermined fate Through all these battles lost, I will fight it. © 2008 Phoenix AlleenaAuthor's Note
