Dear Haggie,

Had the most wonderful sleep last night. The best I’ve had in a while. I also got a letter from David.

He apologises for running out the other day, and asked me if we could be pen pals. He said he thought my letters to you were so heartfelt he wanted to experience it himself.

I wrote back to him agreeing.

Maybe we’ll get to a stage where I can tell him.
