Dear Haggie,

It’s been a week since it happened, as far as I can tell he hasn’t even tried to get in. I’ve stayed awake for as long as possible to make sure.

A couple of small things have turned up in the river again, they look like rats. I think there’s a fox nearby that’s getting them all.
