End CreditA Poem by Katie KistlerVaguely Lucy Dacus inspired because she makes me ~feel things~

I don’t know but you don’t know, either bless your soul been running since high school running the show curtain never comes down clap real slow but I don’t I won’t be part of the applause no, I won’t finally felt the claws and now the doubt sinks in was it all just staged? I wasn’t acting, baby couldn’t see the fake and were you even using your real name? was it all improv class? was it just a game? I hope not I won’t be part of the bows you can take your roses and leave me out I was always meant to be an end credit a footnote left in the dust white lettering on a big black screen that no one sticks around to see © 2021 Katie KistlerReviews
