H

H

A Poem by Katie Kistler
"

H :)

"
maybe I’ve been lonely, H
and maybe kind of horny, H
and I think you’ve been nice to me
ever since I came real clean
we’ve been brushing hands at work
you offer me your coffee, funny
it’s exactly what I drink
yeah, you take it the same as me
you’re not as condescending now
the first week really span me out
god, you were so mean to me
you had me flushed and turning green
with envy for your cutting voice
clipped, serrated, sharpened noise
cut me down to size, H
look me in the eyes, H
and tell me just what you want me to do
I’m desperate for affection
yours will do

I love this poem KK. It flows so wonderfully, a caffeinated confession. The desperation almost creating a little concern, but this is a strong, awesome woman - and if H doesn't see it, I sense He will be told to Hit the Highway.
