Loving Her

Loving Her

A Poem by AnkoStone
"

How can you question all of my affection?

"
“You really loved her.”

Of course I loved her! I spent every moment I was with her loving her. I fell in love with her the moment she spoke and that’s when I knew I was doomed. I knew I was going to be bound to this woman forever. Because even now I can still hear her laughing in my ear and I can see her sleeping next to me. Every time I close my eyes and I see her name in twinkling lights and her name is the word that comes out of my mouth in the late of night when I can’t sleep and I have to make up stories to try and rest and they all involved her. I was doomed from the beginning. Because I know what happens when people fall in love like that.

They leave.
