Priceless PebbleA Poem by Kate HIt's customary for a male penguin, to present to the female of his choice, a pebble, as to show his interest in being her soulmate for life. Recently, my boyfriend did just that for me. He asked this:
Some seek out mere happiness. Others, in search of the material gold.
Some are so fortunately given, a wealth so grand, that it has to be felt but never righteously told. Man pursues his day, perhaps at a desk, or even at sea but all the earned salary it's possible to make, would never mean as much to me. This stone I grasp, it bears no true net worth but is more priceless to me, than any other jewel adorning this earth. ** Of all the precious gems and treasures known to any man, none hold even the slightest resembling value, of this pebble within my hand! © 2015 Kate HReviews
