A Poem by Kate H

- Nights of roaming, wandering, stumbling. Time lost, as minutes and hours pass. Weary and restless from my plaguing thoughts but still, one very thought remains with suffocating, repetitiousness.* Will you have your riches only briefly or perhaps be made to watch them go up in flames?? I pity you not, for you've no respect, remorse or dignity to afford me such extremities. * Hasty words uttered, are not of eligibility to be retracted once departed from vengeful lips. What's done is now done. What has long since parted it's way amongst our company, has now penetrated feelings and pride, to hurt and bestow hard feelings, making them even more so. So easily, all's follies but your own, are quickly pointed at and called out for bearing to your self as well as others. Won't you give in to your narcissism? The visibily sickening weakness that is your self proclaimed ego? Succumb to the unwillingness to lye down, take much needed recession, for your play has far beyond overstayed it's welcome here and the chance of the chaotic tempest you cast, is less than minimally tolerated now.
