Likelihood of Uncertainty

Likelihood of Uncertainty

A Poem by Kate H

As sure as a drunkard will drown in his own glass of wine, an emotion will become set, burrowing into place.
Likelihood of uncertainty is most probable, for the final resting place to these tears that streak my face.
Heavy falling of rain outside my window, reminds me that I do not weep alone.
A renowned spirit, possessing no special powers, let alone awaiting chariots, am I. Topping and surpassing my stability, self control, these ever present tears upon my cheek serve as a reminder of my resolve and they are mine to freely rid. To you for this- more than a thousand thanks, for helping me cleanse my soul!
