Multicolored Casings

Multicolored Casings

A Poem by Kate H

- Feelings that come and go, yet catching a glimpse at last, these colors with eventual show and care spread out in vast.
- The words I love you uttered but no display at all, an easy shift now shuttered and soon will come the fall.
- Disregard in multicolored casings- trust now gone askew, realization of time now wasting, departure in plain view.
- Frowns and snarled lips upon somber, saddened faces. Eyes of vast emptiness with the yearning for familiar places.
- Bind of promise posed, now retreating to the past. Closeness of demise now showing, as this was sure to never last.

If i was to guess, I would ask if you once thought,
"Tell you I love you and you not hear me...
Is it my turn to totally understand.
To watch you walk out of my life and not do a damn thing...

If I have to give away...
The feeling that I feel.
If I have to sacrifice...
Oh, whatever babe, whatever baby.
If I have to take apart...
All that I am...
Is there anything that I would not do,
'Cause inside I'd die without you... "
