You Broke My Heart But I Still Love You....I Always Will 💔

A poem about a boy who broke my heart. The first boy I ever loved and who made me feel loved for the first time and he had to move away. He told me he didn't love me anymore but I still love him.

I took a chance on you
And you broke me
Said that you loved me
But did you really?

Everything we had
You let it die
A perfect illusion
You made me cry

I was foolish
Right from the start
I believed in you
And your heart

Never felt love
Till I met you
My first love
Broke my heart
In two

Don't understand
How it went wrong
All the happiness
Suddenly gone

From the perfect start
To the finish line
Didn't last long
But for a moment
You were mine

Gave you everything I had
Felt good with you also bad
Pushed me away like I was nothing
Now all I want is to feel something

At the start we were magic
But now we're just tragic
Tears they stream down my face
Cause all I want is your embrace

I never thought
That I'd ever find love
Now all I feel is pain
I want you to take it away

But you're gone
100 miles away
You moved on
I'm trying to be strong

I love you I said
As I stood at your door
But all you said was bye
As you closed the door

Then we were no more

One can easily feel the pain of heartbreak in this poem, and can easily understand the situation the poet is going through... I have been there my frnd and I believe most of us have been... Love is a kind of power that carries so much of us with it, so when it breaks contact with the other person it gets separated and takes away half of ourself with it...
