Why Can't You Hear Me

Why Can't You Hear Me

A Poem by Katie Marie

Why are you crying?
I don't understand.

Why can't you hear me?
I'm yelling your name.

I see you lean down,
To give me a kiss.
As you say goodbye,
And that I'll be missed.

Why say goodbye?
I don't understand.

  I need you,
 I love you,
I want you to stay.

And why can't you hear me?
I'm yelling your name.

Your gone now,
Faded,
Washing away.

That love that I felt,
Is melting away.

  You loved me,
 You left me,
You said your goodbyes.

So I sit here in darkness,
With no love in my life.

Life is all gone,
Never said my goodbyes.

And I sit here in darkness,
With no love, and no life.
