Love is like snow. You look at it, So beautiful, So graceful. But once you reach out To touch it, You feel the cold, The bitter cold. It melts in your hand. This is why, You should never love. Because when you do, It melts away, Just like the beautiful, bitter, Snow.
Sometimes simplicity is the greatest accomplice of beauty, like how you met nature and love in the snow, and how universal it felt when spoken by your tongue.
Great writing, however sad, hopeless. I'm one of those who thinks it is better to have loved once than never have loved at all. Nevertheless I loved the way you expressed your words in this one, very creatuve. Great poem.
Ha. What a thought-provoking piece! I've never thought of love as snow, but after reading this, I can definitely understand the sentiments behind your concept. I really liked the simplistic, graceful way in which you wrote, and thought that your poem evoked a real sense of wisdom and truth. I think the line 'You could never love' should perhaps be 'You should never love', but other than that, this was a flawless write. Beautiful poem,
