Tin Woman

Tin Woman

A Poem by Katie Cullen

i asked for

your heart

Sadly

you imparted

you had none

‘twas long ago

stolen

never to return

a thief came

at twilight

Uninvited

and ripped

love asunder

‘twas long ago

plundered

never to return

do not fear,

my beloved

i shall seek out

The All Powerful

And Mighty Oz

and plead

your case

for a new

heart

come

walk with

me awhile.
