You may thought you found your soulmate, then you realize God had other plans for you!

I remember the day oh so well

It was the day I came home to my  living hell

you sat there smug

no tears in your eyes

many years given

not even a good-bye

I gave my soul

I gave my heart

You promised to God

we would never be apart

now I sit here all alone

contimplating suicide in this home

the home where you took my virginity

the thing that can never be given back to me

 

Now I really want you to know

I am truly glad you let me go

I found true love like Ive never had before

I know this man wont walk out my door

I thank God today for the new man in my life

for in the upcomming year

I will be his  wife

I pray we stay healthy and forever strong

for this is the man I have forever longed

sometimes you think you found true love

then God sends a message from up above

to let you know it was a lesson learned

that sometimes in life u can truly get burned

I woke up today

with no regrets in my heart

I love my new man

we will never part........
