RemindersA Poem by Kathy Mc CathySome things just remain.
Loading tearful cartridges into the truck ,
Bleeding so fast they re already broken up I watch their happy faces and lovely lives , Their cute little noses and widened smiles They remind me of someone cremated . My broken dreams and unstable patches , Worn out by olive feelings and frequent bashes. Desperate touches on thin cold glass , Cloaked images and brass gaps . They remind me of someone elated . My fingers laced with key lime green My hate as deep as ultramarine. One touch , a gasp , a laugh , 11 letters , I am your old bottles of salt and peppers . They remind me of someone baited . © 2023 Kathy Mc CathyAuthor's Note
