She

She

A Poem by Kathy Mc Cathy
"

How deep can your heart.go for someone

"
I pine for your love ,
Even if it pricks the snow .
I long for your touch and glances.
I don't think you know

You ve seem me for afar I hope ,
Blotting some 100 tissues and whispering ur name
At this point everyone thinks I'm insane
Carving your name like my mark
Slitting myself for your love

I don't blame you , you know
To succumb to a future that you didn't sow
Some say you were at ease in the end
But for me world had turned to pastel .

I hope you would let me know
That you re better now then long ago
That loving us was the best thing you did
And you wish that ur future included us

You were probably a 100 someones ,
To someone else's
I hope you have a soft spot for me always
I find solace in the words
That a heart never forget it's true loves.

Extremely unrefined and raw , but I wanted to preserve the emotions I felt that time even if better words could modify this poem .

Quite like the last stanza...I read the "it's" as "its" I believe it was intended as possessive.
an interesting journey this poem is, certainly is.

We succumb to many things in life; some make it to the finish line, others don't; some leave their marks, others don't. You are leaving good marks on poetry.

Thank you for your kind response
Heartfelt words to a lost love. Sometimes people can’t be together . That isn’t to say that all the love has gone. Memories remain. A tragic story of the heart suffering.

Lovingly tragic, to slit and carve for love. Suffering sweetly, longing and perhaps needing touch and glances.

Good read.

With love
